About ASL Muse Co.

The inspiration for ASL Muse evolved in the desire to create access for the fine arts through American Sign Language interpretation.  During the Pennie Brinson show, Veramarie was casted as the "Muse".  One of the goals of ASL Muse is to incorporate universal access for the fine arts through interpretation.

Veramarie Baldoza
Executive Director / President

With more than 20 years of experience in the Deaf and Disability communities, Veramarie
makes sure that she can provide services to ensure access in a variety of settings.

Nationally Certified ASL Interpreter

Veramarie graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She also got her Master's degree in Special Education from Ball State University and has completed the IUPUI ASL-English Interpreting Training program.  She is nationally certified with Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and is a licensed interpreter in the state of Illinois.

Accessibility Trainer and Educator

For those individuals who are not sure where
to go or are looking for resources, Veramarie's knowledge will help you find what you are seeking.  She provides 1 on 1 training and ASL interpretation.
